Italian refuge evening – a unique après-ski experience in Montgenèvre

At nightfall, Montgenèvre reveals one of its best-kept secrets. This one-of-a-kind, exclusive après-ski evening invites you to experience the mountains in a different way, between France and Italy, in a preserved high-altitude setting.

Organised every evening of the season by the Apeak ski school, this adventure begins with a departure from Montgenèvre towards the charming Italian village of Clavière. You'll soon take your place as a passenger on a snowmobile ride up a spectacular forest route to an altitude of over 2,300 metres.

On arrival at the refuge, you'll receive a warm welcome with mulled wine, a cosy atmosphere and the silence of the mountains. Then, for those who wish, a guided snowshoe walk takes you under the stars, in a wild and grandiose setting, facing the mythical reliefs of the Alps and under the impressive eye of Mont Chaberton.

Back at the refuge, it's time for the pleasure of the senses: a real Italian mountain dinner, generous and authentic, prepared on the spot by Tony and his team. Antipasti, pasta, polenta, dessert… a gourmet, convivial and timeless interlude.
